Thin Tea Detox Blend | ThePopHeir | REVIEW

Teas promising weight loss and detoxing have been quite popular in recent months. Honestly, I did not really pay attention to the craze until Thin Tea approached me to try out their teas. I agreed to give the teas a try as they do not contain laxatives and seem to have pretty good reviews online.

It is recommended that you start with the detox blend first and then move on to the fat burning blend. It comes with a tea diffuser that you basically put the blend in and leave it in the hot water for 3 - 5 minutes. It tastes like normal green tea and you can add either honey and/or sugar to add a bit of flavour to it.

My Experience

I only drank the tea once a day in the morning, as recommended, and I did not add anything else to the tea as I am use to just plain tea. I was really good at drinking it once a day for a few weeks and then I became inconsistent with the tea, skipping a day or two here and there. I also did not follow any of the recommended diets they suggested, I just continued with my regular diet which consists of junk food every now and then throughout the week.

In the first week I did not notice anything happening. I honestly did not expect much from a detox blend. However during the second week, I started to notice breakouts on my face and my body. I found this very strange as I had been pretty good with my all over skincare for the past few months. I then realised it must have been the tea causing the break outs. From my understanding, when you  go through a detox your body starts to release toxins and this can sometimes manifest as breakouts.

Overall

I am quite pleased with this tea! I probably is more effective you if you follow the recommended diet plan and drink it consistently but from my experience this tea really works. I recommend this to anyone looking for a tea to help give their body a cleanse from the inside out. Just be prepared for the potential breakouts. This product does not contain any caffeine, so do not rely on this to wake you up if you are a coffee addict.
