As you guys might have seen, I have been really trying to take care of my skin more this year. Mesoestetic has a new face mask that is perfect for blemish-prone skin. I have been using it for roughly a month now and has it worked?
Mesoetetic's Pure Renewing Face mask is an exfoliating and purifying facial mask for blemish-prone and seborrrhoeic skin. It has inert pelllets that provide mechanical exfoliation and cellular renewal. It also contains the m.acne complex which is a unique combination of active substances which allows for deep cleansing and renewal of blemish-prone and oily skin.
Another active ingredient Bexaretinyl complex which has a form of retinol and kaolin. The retinoid is great at exfoliating the skin at a cellular level and the kaolin helps exfoliate the skin and helps absorb excess oil while softening the skin.
My Experience
I have used the product for about 4 week. I only use it once a week after I have properly cleansed my skin. I apply a generous layer on the skin and let it sit on the skin for 10 minutes. Afterwhich, I massage it gently into the skin for a minute. the inner pellets act as the mechanical exfoliator. Then I finally just rinse it off. I follow it with my normal moisturiser.
When I started using the product, I had started to bleach my hair more and it made it really dry. I had to apply more hair oil to hydrate my hair but this tends to break my forehead out more.
Overall
Overall, I really liked the product. I found that my skin responded well to it. My forehead had not brokenout as bad as it use it so it was good as a preventive treatment as well. As for the active pimples, they dried out quickly after using the mask. As for oil control, I do not feel that my skin changed much since using this. I recommend this product to those with acne-prone skin and are looking for a weekly treatment that will not only help with the pimples but it will also help exfoliate the skin.
