If you guys are a follower of my YouTube work, you might already know that I went to the Gold Coast recently for a little holiday with my family. As I was flying domestic and did not have much space for all my beauty products, I had to limit my product choices for the trip. Above are some of the products that I brought along with me.
Rodial's Instaglam Compact Deluxe Contouring Powder
This has got to be one of the most versatile products that I have in my collection. Though, I did not wear any foundation on the trip, I felt that I would need something to add a little drama to the eyes. I love using this powder not only as a contour powder but also as an eyeshadow. Kim Kardashian's makeup artist occasionally uses this product to give Kim a more natural smokey eye. CoverGirl's Plumpify BlastPro Mascara
This has got to be one of the best drugstore mascaras out there. It provides amazing volume, lasts all day and the formula is very very black. Granted I have the shade in very black but it works so well. You can apply a thin layer for a natural look or build it up for almost false lash look. Kryolan's Concealer Wheel
This product is well loved by makeup artists and lovers for many reasons. I, personally, love this product because each concealer is very pigmented. I tend to use the orange, peach shades in the wheel for when I am not wearing foundation. I mainly use them under the eyes and it just instantly brightens up my face.
Benefit's Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil
This brow pencil is simply amazing! The packaging is cute, the functionality of it is amazing and the actual product definitely does the job. This is a mechanical pencil with a spoolie at the end. It is perfect for on the go and for those of us that don't really want to spend too much time on the brows for a daily look. The product itself is pigmented enough that it will fill in the brows yet still gives a soft look to them.
Nip + Fab Skin Glycolic Instant Fix Mask
Travelling on airplanes and just the stress of travel can really cause the skin to look a bit dull. I made sure I brought along my beloved Glycolic Mask. I absolutely love this product, just 10 minutes on the face and you instantly feel that your skin is softer, smoother and wake you wake up the next day, your skin looks much brighter. As with any AHA based product, I made sure I used a sunscreen during the day.
Bourjois' Little Round Pot Blush
I have got the shade 16 Love-Struck Rose. This is a nice peach toned blush and on my complexion it gives a nice warmth to the skin, almost like a bronzer. The packaging is really cute and the pigmentation is great. Though it does have a scent, some people may not like this but it does dissipate after a while
Kylie Cosmetic's Matte Liquid Lipstick in True K Brown
Now this product, I did not actually bring to the Gold Coast. I received it after the trip but I still wanted to talk about it. I honestly thought this product would not be that great. As with many internet hyped about products, they tend to be either a complete fail or just mediocre. Kylie's liquid lipstick is actually really good. The quality of the packaging and the actual product are really good. Pigmentation is beyond what I expected from a drugstore priced lippie.
