REFORMULATED BOURJOIS HEALTHY MIX FOUNDATION | REVIEW

Bourjois has recently reformulated their cult favourite Healthy Mix foundation. I was a bit fan of their original formula. In this post I will review the new formula and compare it to the old formula as well. 

According to Bourjois the new foundation’s formula contains a mixture of vitamins and a blend of helpful ingredients. The new anti-fatigue formula, which contains a combination of Vitamins, C, E and B5, helps complexion look healthy and radiant. Your skin is more
luminous making your complexion look fresher and rested and reveals the radiance within. With coated pigments in the formula, new Healthy Mix provides an undetectable natural finish that lasts up to 16 hours and leaves skin feeling replenished.

The Product

You get 30ml of product in the foundation. The bottle has a more rectangular shape as oppose to the tube shape of the original foundation. 

The foundation itself is more of a traditional liquid type foundation. Slightly runny but does not set quickly which gives you ample amount of time to blend the foundation into the skin.

Coverage is medium buildable. It does not look cakey on the skin, it has a demi-matte foundation. The fruity scent of the foundation only lingers on the skin for a couple of minutes. I find that it lasts pretty well throughout the day.

Overall

Honestly I love the new formula as much as the original formula. The original formula was slightly thicker, like a cross between a liquid and gel foundation. The overall finish and look of the foundation is pretty much the same. I think fans of the original formula will love the reformulated version as much.
