Throughout the years I have learned how to love my natural eye colour. I use to not necessarily hate it but I preferred lighter shades on my eyes. That being said I still love wearing light coloured contacts for certain makeup looks. In this post I will be sharing wih you my Top 3 Light contacts.

I probably should have done the video in order of my favourites but we will just do it here. The contacts I featured are from Solotica and specifically their Hidrocor range.
1. Hidrocor Rio Ipanema
This is my #1 shade because of how more more natural it is compared to the other 2 shades. This is honestly the shade I feel that I can actually wear without makeup. I really like how much more blending there is to this shade. There is a nice darker outter ring of darker grey blue and then towards the pupil it has lighter flecks of green. Overall I feel it gives a very light green grey look to the eye. Personally I feel the Hidrocor Rio Range is better than the original range as I feel they have really developed the shade pattern more.
2. Hidrocor Topazio
I rank this as my #2. This is one of the original shades from Solotica and it is probably the lightest shade of blue you can get on the market. I would describe this as a very light blue with a tinge of green or Turquiose. This lens can definitely give you a very zombie like look to the eye in person. If you have uneven eyes like myself it becomes really apparent with this pair unless you are wearing a decent amount of makeup. This is definitely pretty on camera/instagram but I wouldn't suggest this for people that plan to wear this without makeup and have naturally dark features.
3. Hidrocor Quartzo
This cult favourite lens ranks as my #3. I ranked this lower as I honestly feel that I look very washed out with this pair on without makeup. This is a really light grey contact and looks stunning with heavy eye makeup. Much like Topazio it gives a zombie look to the eye if you have naturally dark features. I still love this pair as it obviously made my top 3 but I don't tend to reach for it as much as I use to.
