For the spring season's artist collaboration Shu Uemura and KYE take you to the cenre of K-vibe. Seoul's hype culture and beauty has become a global sensation. In a new twist, KYE's Korean fashion sense gets redesigned with Shu Uemura's Tokyo edge. The collection tells the story of K-beauty vibe; the new era's youthful brigade through playful iconography as seen through the eyes of KYE and Shu Uemura, two creative forces that showcase Asian beauty style to the world.
I have been enough to try the Ultim8 Sublime beauty cleansing oil, the fresh cushion blush and the sheer color balm. All of which I really like. The cleansing oil is so effective at removing makeup, it even gets rid of my mascara. I have always been skeptical of cleansing oils but it actually removes it all. The sheer colour balms is so hydrating, perfect for the winter weather here in Australia. I was very intrigued about the cushion blush, the concept to me was very different and it was a bit of a learning curve using it but once I got the hang of it, I really liked it.
Overall, this is a great collection. the packaging is very different, urban and cute. It is still available at some David Jones counters. If you can, I definitely recommend you have a look and maybe pick a few pieces up.
